Selection process
- Selection will be based purely on the Merit List prepared on the basis of percentage of marks secured in the prescribed essential qualification (Degree / Diploma / ITI / 12th).
- There is no written test conducted for this selection process.
- In case of candidates scoring equal percentage, candidates higher in age will be placed above in merit.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and pre-engagement medical fitness test.
- Engagement is strictly as an Apprentice for 12 months under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Upon completion, apprentices have no right or claim for permanent absorption or regular employment in IOCL.

- For Technician & Graduate Apprentices: Register on the NATS 2.0 portal at nats.education.gov.in. For Trade Apprentices & DEO: Register on the NAPS apprenticeship portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- Complete your registration profile 100% on the respective portal and generate your Enrollment / Registration Number.
- Log in to the respective portal and search for IOCL Western Region establishment: NATS Establishment ID: WMHMCC000053 NAPS Establishment ID: E01172700332
- Select the desired trade/discipline opportunity and apply online against the listing.
- Enter all academic marks, upload required certificates/documents, and submit the application.
